Qualitative Interviews Discussion

On Tuesday morning we had a debrief and discussed the previous days interviews.

Overall everyone had gained a lot of experience in the field. Many had positive experiences but due to it being our first time as researchers there were some issues that arose.

Main points of discussion included locations, language barriers, the use of translators, discussions occurring after recording stopped, assumption of gratuities, building of rapport, distractions and social acceptability bias.

This was a really good way of rounding up the previous days work.
